The Farm in the Spring

it was crazy busy.

hot.

a bird pooped on my arm.

definitely not worth the $ i dished out.

but worth it to spend time with my girl

as each week goes by,

they seem freakishly the same yet different at the same time.

it's a little like groundhog day around here sometimes

but then something will happen that will throw us for a loop.

this weekend, i got sick.

like went to urgent care,

slept in bed for 5 hours,

couldn't eat,

feverish sick.

thankfully, antibiotics are awesome

and i'm feeling much better before dave is off to hawaii on wednesday.

now that the girls birthdays are done,

and we're back to being semi-normal

there are many things to do/organize/plan.

in the mean time,

here is alice with her awesome bed head.

Yo Nora Nora!

our oldest child is 3-years-old.

it happened in the blink of an eye.

we turned and she's blossoming into a little girl.

she's the sweetest girl we know

and we were thrilled to see her so happy at her birthday party.

as per her request,

we threw her a yo gabba gabba birthday party with some of her church buddies.

i managed to snap a few pictures before guests arrived

 nora had so much fun with her friends.

even though there was a lot of screaming and playing

we were filled with joy to see our little girl having so much fun on her special day.

her new favorite thing to do is apparently blow out candles

Birthday Breakfast

one of our family traditions (that we're trying to keep)

is to have a hearty breakfast either in or out for birthdays.

for nora's we went to cici's 

so we thought we should to take alice for her's too!

it was deliciousness of course

and our girl devoured lots of her blueberry banana pancake.

this girl is so silly.
